A Non-Profit Organization engaged Attain as technology consultants to enable their vision for a workplace redesign centered around an Activity Based approach.
The creation of a flexible workspace environment required technology solutions that allowed users to connect anywhere in the space, simple, intuitive, and bookable audio-visual systems and spaces, concierge visitor management at reception and compatible but separate access control with the base building system (one card for each employee to carry) with advanced security features.
The solution required the integration of several technology services including IT, AV, and security. All streams began with close consultation with the client team and their advisors to review the business objectives and scope requirements. Attain worked, consulted, and collaborated with architecture and build teams to ensure that the technology solution fit the design vision, and the requirements were understood across all teams.

The Activity Based approach to the workplace was brought to life through office “neighbourhoods” which included a variety of open and closed work spaces, with different settings for staff to work from, flexibly, throughout the day. The new landscape enables productivity, collaboration, and an increase sense of identity throughout the team.
