Marc Courville

With 20+ years of experience, Marc joined the Attain group in 2019, drawn by their unique understanding of the interrelationship and functionality of Smart Building components (IT, AV, Security, Network, Wireless) and their forward-thinking approach to providing solutions for their clients.

Clients benefit from Marc’s expertise in communicating complex technology issues.  He has extensive experience in:

• CPTED / Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design and TRA/ Threat Risk Assessments
• Security designs and inter-relationship within Smart Building designs
• Establishing cost effective solutions based on goals / needs analysis
• Throughout understanding of the industry and all respective players (manufacturers and integrators)

As V.P. Security at Attain, Marc provides leadership to the team, instilling a culture of communication and creativity when developing solutions for clients.

Marc has worked in the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East, giving him a global view of the evolution of security best practices, applications, and the telecommunications industry at large. He is an active member of BOMA, the Ontario College of Trades and Ontario College of Teachers, as well as an executive member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) – International Chapter.

His vast market experience is complemented by training and accreditations including CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) and multiple industry manufacturer products.  He is also licensed in Québec for Security Consulting and Design with the Bureau de sécurité privée (BSP)

Outside of the office, as a Professor of Technology, Marc enjoys bringing greater knowledge to the industry during seminars and classes.
