Derrick is a people person. This led him to co-found Attain in 2004 out of a desire to apply his technology and business knowledge to client opportunities and the desire to create a company of great people that share this vision.
He has been in the cabling infrastructure & telecom business for more than 35+ years and has gained diverse telecom project experience through the management of various government and private sector telecommunications projects.
He believes that Real Estate must reflect the people that it serves, and our spaces can be enabled through technology to be enjoyable, comfortable and productive.
He is highly experienced in technology, engineering design and project management. As a self-described Voice of the Client, Derrick takes pride in bringing his enthusiasm, listening, and problem-solving skills to each project to ensure that outcomes truly meet client needs. Derrick is fluent in the needs and languages of the industry. He can translate complex issues into requirements and solutions, enabling the intersection of technology, real estate, construction and business.
As President of Attain, Derrick’s role also includes leadership and strategy. True to his founding vision, Derrick fosters a culture of learning, transparency, collaboration, and client project excellence.
Outside of the office, Derrick is passionate about cottaging, boats and motorsports. He has a secret passion for darts, backgammon and card games.
Above all, Derrick loves people, and it is felt through his caring, enthusiasm and dedication to his clients and his team.
